Veritas Grading Company was built by Chris and Seth with a simple belief: collectors deserve a grading company that understands the people behind the coins. We are collectors, precious-metals professionals, sellers, buyers, and members of the same community we serve. Veritas was created to bring transparency, consistency, technology, accountability, and personal service together under one name.

Chris brings generations of hands-on experience as a third-generation goldsmith and silversmith, along with experience in precious metals, refining, coins, and retail. Seth has been an avid coin collector for years, with a strong background in customer service and a collector-first understanding of what buyers and sellers expect from a trusted company. Through MINTED_AG, he also brings extensive hands-on experience in online coin and precious-metals sales, live selling, product presentation, customer relationships, and direct interaction with collectors across the country. His experience on both the collecting and selling sides helps Veritas stay focused on clear communication, dependable service, fair dealing, and building long-term trust with the collecting community. Together, they built Veritas to serve collectors rather than lose sight of them.

Veritas means “truth” in Latin. The Greek word commonly translated as “truth” is aletheia (ἀλήθεια). We chose Veritas because truth, transparency, and integrity are exactly what we believe coin grading should stand for. The name is more than a brand—it is the standard we intend to uphold with every coin entrusted to us.
